Roasted Asparagus

Ingredients:
1 bunch of asparagus
salt
pepper
extra virgin olive oil
fresh lemon juice (optional)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Wash asparagus and trim bottom ends off about 1/2 inch or so. Pat dry. Arrange on a sheet pan or cookie sheet in a single layer. Drizzle olive oil over asparagus. With your hands roll the asparagus in the oil to coat. Then grind fresh black pepper and salt over asparagus.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Remove and serve. If you want, you can squeeze fresh lemon juice over it after you take it out of the oven.
