Ingredients:
6 medium to large potatoes
1t salt
1t pepper
1 cup sour cream
1 stick butter
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Milk
Directions:
Peel and cut potatoes into chunks. Rinse under cold water and then place in a pot.
Cover with hot water. Add 1 t salt. Bring to a boil. Remove lid and let potatoes cook until tender. Drain off water. Then turn stove off, but place pan back on burner. Add butter, sour cream and pepper. Mash with a hand masher. Add milk, a little bit at a time, and continue mashing until you get the consistency you like. Taste and add more salt to get to your liking.
Stir in bacon and then serve with your favorite meal.
