Ingredients:
4 T Butter
8 slices thin sliced sirloin
season salt
pepper
1 onion (chopped)
2 cloves garlic
1 package mushrooms
1/2 c Dry Sherry
4 dashes worcestershire sauce
2 dashes hot sauce
Hoagie Buns (regular or gluten free)
Provolone Cheese
Directions:
Sprinkle steak with season salt and pound with a meat mallet, on both sides.
Cut steak into 1/2 inch strips.
Melt 2 T butter in a large skillet. Add onions and cook 3 minutes.
Add 2 cloves garlic and cook 2 more minutes.
Add steak and cook till desired doneness.
Remove steak from skillet.
Add 2 T butter and melt.
Add mushrooms and stir.
Add sherry, worcestershire and hot sauce.
Stir and cook 5 more minutes.
Add steak back into skillet and stir until warmed.
Remove from heat.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Split hoagie rolls and lay on a cookie sheet.
Toast in oven for a few minutes.
Remove and put provolone cheese on top half of roll.
Put steak, onion and mushroom mixture on bottom half of roll.
Place back in the oven just until cheese melts.
Serve with baked sweet potato fries and a salad.
