Baked Beans

Ingredients:
2 - 30 oz cans pinto beans; 
   drain and rinse beans with cold water
1 medium onion, diced
6 T prepared yellow mustard
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup coconut sugar or brown sugar
4 T ketchup or 2 T tomato paste
2 T lemon juice
1/2 pound bacon strips, cut into 1/2-inch pieces (optional)

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a dutch oven and stir well. 
Bake covered in a 350 degree oven for 45-60 minutes.

*This recipe is delicious and so easy. I left out the bacon and used tomato paste instead of ketchup.
